Great Mixer from Behringer
A lot of people have reviewed this product as poor quality and bad noise problems across many websites that carry this product. I don't know if they're used to using yamaha or mackie mixer boards, but this thing is awesome. I have had no problems with noise or quality of this product. I use this mixer with an older Peavey microphone to record my podcast at www.doyleclark.com

Fluke, or junk?
Mine came broken, straight out of the box. I needed this for a live gig. I use a lot of Behringer stuff because it is low-cost, but very quiet and reliable stuff.
Lately though, I've been having bad luck with Behringer. I bought a mulitple headphone rackmount unit and it was humming and buzzing. I looked online and many others were complaining about it. I exchanged it for another and it did the same thing right out of the box so I took it back and got the 4-channel version and it too had a buzz in it. Then I got this unit from Amazon and it came dead. The unit would light up, but that was it. Dead.
Amazon was cool about refunding my money, so that's cool, but this unit being broken straight out of the box caused me a lot of grief as I received this unit the day before the gig and didn't find out it was broken until it came time to use it, LIVE! Luckily I had a backup... Also a behringer of the same size, that I've had for about 7 years now and it's been great. Go figure.
Anyway, I hope Behringer isn't going down the tubes. I've not happy with the last four Behringer products I purchased. I might be done with them now.

I would have liked to see at least 2 XLR outputs also but I guess that would be too expensive to build into a small inexpensive mixer like this. it's a great product and does what it says it will do. and amazon of course shipped it right away as usual
Fantastic for the price
Considering the upward trend in pricing on entry level audio electronics as of late (thanks to podcasting...) this unit easily satisfies a multitude of requirements at a bargain price. The build quality is on par with other Behringer products (read: all but perfect), noise is not an issue (SNR 110dB), the "British" (haha) style EQ is clean and the thing just works.
I too complain of no power button. A soft-on toggle/rocker would have been a nice addition, given the recommended power-on procedure (Connect power supply to board, then plug supply into the wall) but I suppose it could be easily solved with a remote control outlet.
A Good Bang for the Buck
I found this product very satisfactory for my limited use to entertain my friends and family. The product is easy to use and it has many options to connect to other equipments such as computer, TV or AV receiver. It feels solid in its construction. The only con. I have is that it does not not have a power off switch. I recommend this product.
